Alberta’s Minister of the Environment is responsible for determining Alberta’s overall climate change strategy, and for advancing funds to the Corporation.
Board of Directors
The CCEMC’s Board is responsible for establishing organizational goals, strategies, business plan development, assurance of effective measurement, policy direction and effective stewardship and governance.
Operations Management Committee (OMC)
This group addresses a broad range of operational matters required to execute the mandate in an efficient and effective manner. Its areas of focus include:

The CCEMC is committed to providing full, transparent and timely reporting, updating Albertans annually on fund allocation and project achievement. Accountability tools include:

The CCEMC is a not-for-profit, independent organization with a mandate to expand climate change knowledge, develop new ‘clean’ technologies and explore practical ways of implementing them.
