EDMONTON – The Climate Change and Emissions Management (CCEMC) Corporation is funding five renewable energy projects, totaling more than $37.5 million.
“These renewable energy projects are important investments that help diversify Alberta’s energy base, reduce emissions, and support a growing green economy,” said CCEMC Chair Eric Newell. “These projects will reach people in Alberta’s cities, in our towns and in our rural communities. They demonstrate that Canada has the capacity and the commitment to develop clean technology that will help address North America’s climate change challenge.”
